Make a List Monday: TO DO LIST

I don't know about you, but my to-do list seems to grow twice as fast as me checking things off! This time a year is insane! So, my list today is what I have to get done for the rest of this week.

1. Bake cookies. 9 dozen cookies to be exact.
2. Clean and get ready for Josh's mom and Bill to get here! (there's a seperate list to go with that in and of itself!)
3. Get things ready for our Christmas party for the kids at school.
4. Get a book for Jax's book exchange.
5. Get ornament for MOPS ornament exchange.
6. More cookies.
7. Going to ICE on Tuesday night (very much looking forward to that!)
8. Get gift for White Elephant with mom's group on Thursday.
9. Take Christmas pic for our Christmas card.
10. DO Christmas cards
11. Wrap and send our Christmas package to Denver.

Friday Favorites: Kroger.com

Today, Kroger.com is at the top of my list. This evening around 6, Jackson will be recieving a phone call from the big, red guy himself: SANTA! You can go to Kroger.com and schedule a phone call for your kiddos! I think Jackson is going to freak out, but be very excited! Happy Holidays! Have fun!

Thanksgiving 2009

Another Thanksgiving has come and gone. I canNOT believe how quickly this year is going by. We were definitely missing family this Thanksgiving, but we were extremely grateful to the Holloways for having us to their house and letting us be a part of their family for the day! It was a day of awesome food, awesome wine, and awesome company. I have much to thank God for!


PLUS! It is OFFICIALLY CHRISTMAS SEASON!! WOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOO!

I went last night to Toys R Us at 10:30 to wait in line in the freezing cold to shop at midnight. I must say I was very intimidated at first, but with the help of some good friends, we made it an excellent night. I did not get back home until 6 am. Why am I still awake now? no idea. Goodnight all!

Its Soccer Season Again!!

Jackson had his first soccer game of the season this past Saturday! He did great, scoring all 8 goals!!! :)

Sips N Strokes

GOTTA tell everyone about this wonderful place. Tonight we had Mom's Night Out. We went to Sips N Strokes. It was WAAAY fun! Not to mention I got to take home a beautiful picture painted by me. :) You bring your own drinks and snacks and get those creative juices flowing. The instructor takes you step by step through the painting for that night! The pictures turned out way better than any of us thought they would...even with the "sips" (wine) flowing!

What is your favorite dessert?

First of all, it was way too hard to narrow it down to one dessert. However, cheesecake took first place over German Chocolate cake. BUT, it can't be just any cheesecake. My Oma makes THE best cheesecake, hands down. I don't know what she does differently to make it superior to all other cheesecakes. Add some whip cream and fresh strawberries and I won't be coming down from cloud 9 anytime soon.

Back from Tejas!

I don't even know where to start! We just got back from a 2 week vacation in Texas withOUT Daddy! It was an awesome, relaxing, fun vacation...but it was way too long away from my hubby. I took over 400 pictures on the trip, but here are just a few of my favorites!

Blue Heron Boat Cruise

Yesterday we went on a boat cruise with my mom's group. All I can say is that it totally blew my expectations away! It was awesome!! Jackson had SO much fun...but also, so did I!! It was actually relaxing!!! I would highly recommend this to anyone...kids of all ages. Captain Jim took great care of us! Here are some pics!!

He's only 3 years old! This is NOT allowed!! He's riding his bike with NO training wheels!!

Happy 4th!

It was a great 4th of July! We had some friends over. We grilled out, ate A LOT, shot off fireworks (JUST before the rain came) and relaxed! Here are some pics of the day!
