Being Thankful # 11

I know, I'm a little late. But I have been posting (on facebook) something that I am thankful for each day (for Thanksgiving). I thought I would just transfer it over here to try and get this blog rolling.  :)

Today I am thankful for:

MY PARENTS! They took Jackson for the night last night and gave Josh and I some "us" time. I love that they are just a drive away now. And the fact that they WANT to spend time with their grandson! They are the best! :)

Moving right along!

We close in 7 days!! ONE WEEK! My realtor called this morning and told me they are moving at top speed on our house! Here are the pictures that she sent me from this morning:

I can't believe that we are going to be homeowners soon! I can't believe we are going to be Florida residents! :) :) :)

10 days until closing!!

So Josh made it to Orlando safely and actually started his new job today! I talked with him briefly and he seemed very excited about it. He thinks its going to be a great fit. :)

He also got the opportunity to see our soon-to-be house this past weekend! They have the walls up and paint color on. Our cabinets are in the garage ready to go in, along with our tile floors! I can't wait to see it all completed. Here are just a few pictures of the downstairs.

The Sunshine State!

Both of my babies will be born in the same city! :) Probably the same hospital too! Josh has taken a position with RSC Equipment Rental in Tampa, FL. We always said we wanted to be back in Florida, we just weren't expecting it to happen so soon. But we could not be happier! With this baby coming around Christmas time, I totally welcome the fact that my parents will only be an hour and a half away in Orlando. Jackson is just as excited as Josh and I.

To add to the excitement, Josh and I took the plunge and we are going to become homeowners! As my friend Nikki said, we are now "legit grown-ups". We will be closing on our brand new 3 bedroom townhouse the 30th of September! I just got news that the walls are up in the house. I'll post pics when I get some! (hopefully Sunday)

Next thing, PRAISE GOD!! -My parents' house has also sold! YIPPEE YIPPEE! Does God have the ultimate timing or what?? Just goes to show that He is in control, even when you start to second guess that fact. God is good!!

So, that's a short update on us! We have been packing, throwing away, making Goodwill runs, and repeating for the past week now. Josh and my mom will be leaving for Florida on Friday. Josh will start work next Monday (the 20th) and then my mom, dad and Josh will head back up here to load *both* moving trucks!

Palm Sunday! We made our palms from church this morning into crosses. We are excitedly awaiting Easter!

sick of being sick

I have had a cough and runny nose and all that junk for about 2 weeks now. The past 2 days I started to feel a little bit normal again...until...
Last night around midnight I started puking, and didn't stop until noon today. I hope its over. I still have a fever, along with my cough and runny nose. I'm ready for this to be over.

I hope to pick up my 365 pictures again either tomorrow or the next day!
